Section J Assessment
The Ace Energy team are experienced in conducting Section J Assessments for commercial developments, with our energy assessors able to provide comprehensive insights into your project and how to best meet the Section J criteria.
We understand the need to make this process as straightforward as possible, which is why our Section J Reports often involve consultation with the client or building designer to ensure your project goals and budgets are considered.
Section J of the National Construction Code covers energy efficiency requirements for commercial buildings and some residential developments. A Section J report assesses the building envelope, air-conditioning, ventilation, lighting, and hot water systems to demonstrate compliance with the NCC's energy efficiency provisions.
Commercial buildings and some multi-residential developments are required to meet Section J energy efficiency standards. If your project involves commercial space, office buildings, or larger residential developments, a Section J assessment is necessary to demonstrate NCC compliance.
